NOTE: I'M WORKING ON A NEW HEADER. THIS ONE IS TEMPORARY UNTIL I FIGURE IT OUT.....
I recently made a label for a bottle of rum for a friend who did us a big favor. I rather tricked him to find out what his drink of choice is as he would not accept payment for the work he did. The conversation went something like this:
I recently made a label for a bottle of rum for a friend who did us a big favor. I rather tricked him to find out what his drink of choice is as he would not accept payment for the work he did. The conversation went something like this:
Me: If a person was to buy you a drink what kind of drink would that be?
Him: Dark Rum
Me: Any particular brand?
Him: Lemon Heart
With a grin on my face I walked away thinking "Lemon what.....did I get that right??" Oh boy, would I figure it out when I went to the liquor store. Surely "the guy" at the store would know what I was talking about. Fortunately when I walked in the store, went right to the rum section, there was only one kind with a Lemon in it and turns out its Lemon Hart, not Lemon Heart. Phew!
I took the measurements by putting a piece of cardstock in front of the bottle and went from there. I made the circle for the neck of the bottle with a nestability and added a rub on. I made a score line for it to lay on the bottle properly. On the back I added a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock and wrote a personal note. I've never made one of these. Quite happy with how easily it came together and the end result.
A La Prochaine!
