Sale-A-Bration Birthday Card

I thought it was about time to crack open a Sale-A-Bration set - Botanicals for You.

Started with Soft Sky layered with Taken with Teal and Perfectly Artistic DSP.  Ink used was Basic Gray Archival.  All around the "just for you" I traced with a Sakura Gel Pen - Stardust Clear.  In real life it real gives it a "wow" effect.

Enjoy!

Birthday Card

Hello Blogland.  My it's been a long time since I have posted anything on my little blog.  Thanks to those of you who have stuck it out with me.  It's been a rough year but now moving forward to better things.  My niece recently celebrated her 9th birthday and I wanted to make something a little special for her.  So I referred to my "motivation book".  Below is what I came up with.  It's not my original design.  An old post from someone (hanging head in shame) I did not have to foresight to keep the name.  Only kept the picture. I modernized it a bit.

I used the colors Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and Sahara Sand. The skirt was made with velum using the large scallop punch.

The 5 x 5 card was made with the envelope punch board (soooooo easy).  Added her name and a flourish.

Well that's it for now, getting a few things ready for a market this coming Saturday.
