Freestyle Fridays - Embossed Flowers

Hello and welcome to yet another Friday!  Is it beginning to look like Spring where you are?  Trees are starting to bloom here and it is sure a welcomed site. For this week's card I went with Calypso Coral (a very rare used color for me) and Baja Breeze.  I must say I like the combination of these two colors.

I first embossed the flowers from Fabulous Florets in gold on Calypso Coral then took a sponge and applied Calypso Coral all over that layer to get a softer effect.  Then, rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch and applied it to a base of Baja Breeze, rounding the right corners.  Using a Nestabilities die cut, did one with Baja Breeze with the same image stamped in Versamark.  You can see it ever so slightly.  The Hello was just simply embossed in gold on Calypso Coral and applied that using Dimensionals.

On the inside Versamark was used again fully using the image on the left and then partly on the bottom of the right.

Pardon the bad picture.  I'm having mobility issues due to a slipped disc in my lower back and working hard at getting back to normal. I hope you find some inspiration with the above.

********REGINA'S MISSION********

Regina this week you are to create using powder embossing.  Should you choose to make a card an added mission would be to add a little something on the inside.

See Ya Next Week!

What a beautiful and creative card. I love this stamp set and always have problems trying to decide what could be done to make a lovely card and you have really solved my problem. It is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for always stepping up to the plate and coming up with such creative ideas. I also like the fact that you stamp something on the inside of the card. It really puts that finishing touch on an already lovely card. Keep up the wonderful work Julie and give Frankii and big hug from me.
