Freestyle Fridays

I've had the Feeling Sentimental set kicking around the craft table for a couple of weeks now. Was trying to get a feel for it.  This is what finally came out of it.

The colors are Baja Breeze and Basic Gray.  The white paper with the sparkly starbursts is from a long time ago scrapbook paper bundle from Costco.  You can get a sense of how "blingy" it is by looking at the bottom of the photo.  That is a reflection of the silver off my counter.

3 sets of Spellbinders was used here: Marvelous Squares, Ironwork Motifs and Ovals.  Should you ever find your Spellbinders really sticking to your paper after you've run it through the Big Shot or your die cutting machine of choice, add some wax paper.  It comes apart so much easier.  This is the sandwich that I use: Platform, cutting plate, carstock, wax paper, spellbinder, cutting plate.  I sure love using my intricate dies much more since I've been doing this and I no longer grind my teeth when I try to pull the cardstock away from the die.

********REGINA'S MISSION********

For your Mission pleasure this week Regina you are to use two different sets of Spellbinders and make as many layers as you would like.  You can use two, three, heck even five colors.  The main outcome of the Mission is for you to have fun.

See Ya Next Week!

Hi Julie! Isn't that stamp set great??? I love what you have done with the card... it is very sentimental and romantic in theme. You tip about Spellbinders sticking to the card stock is such a help. I have a couple of Spellbinders that I really don't like using because they are so hard to peel off the card stock. Love what you have done this week my friend... keep up the great work.
