Freestyle Fridays

This week I pulled out a lot of product to make this card and just realized I omitted to use a stamp.  I had trouble taking a photo to show the actual shine.  We've been hit with a lot of snow so there's been a lack of sun.  Before I show you the full card I'd like you to get a sense of what it looks like in real life (re: the shine).

The whole background looks like wet brick.  This started with a piece of white cardstock ran through the big shot with the Tim Holtz's Alterations Bricked embossing folder.  The Basic Gray Classic Ink pad was then brushed across very lightly until the desired effect was achieved.  This was following with the Tim Holtz's Distress Embossing Ink pad and clear embossing powder.

I trimmed it to fit onto some Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  The flourish was cut with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die with Garden Green cardstock.  I didn't like the color combination with this green so I sprayed with it Olive Vine Glimmer Mist.  Much happier with the result.

The flowers were made with the Bitty Blossoms Spellbinder die with Core'dinations Cherry Cobbler.  I've discovered a new love for rolled flowers since my friend Penny hooked me up with a quilling tool.  Makes a huge difference!

********REGINA'S MISSION********

Regina your mission this week is a color combination which will be Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray and.....  The third color will be up to you.  I know you are going to come up with something magical!

See Ya Next Week!

Julie, this is GORGEOUS! You really outdid yourself this week!! That "wet" brick wall is stunning, as is the vine climbing on it and the flowers growing there. I love it!!!!
