Freestyle Fridays

This week marked another year older for my beloved Evan.  In his honor this card was designed.

It started by discovering some rather old DSP at the bottom of the scrap bin.  I barely recall it let alone the name of it. It seem to fit well with River Rock cardstock.  Took the Ticket Corner Punch to all the corners.  Layered the dark brown DSP with Very Vanilla.  The sentiment is from a hostess set (when they use to mean something) with purple rubber.  The other stamping is from Little Pieces that matched perfectly with the paper.  These were stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. When folded the card measures 4 x 9 1/4, perfect for a letter size envelope.

********REGINA'S MISSION********

This week, dear friend, your mission is to go to the bottom of the scrap bin and pick something out to do something with.  What are you saving it for anyways???  NO cheating, it has to be from the bottom.

PS: Jacoline and I have booked our flight to Utah.  We're gonna need your best face shot so we can put it on a stick and take you with us wherever we go.  Stop laughing, this is serious business.

See Ya Next Week!

Hi Julie! I really love this card and what a great idea for those pieces of DSP at the bottom of our pile that we don't know what to do with.... This is a wonderful idea for a men's or ladies card. You did a great job... and yes Regina... we need to have a photo so we can take you with us.... It would be soooo much fun to have you there too.

Love your card, Julie! Just look at all of those layers! I will try to reach the bottom of my paper stash, but it's quite deep. I will get a photo to you because I will love going to Utah with you, but mostly I will love the thinner profile of myself. Ha!
