Freestyle Fridays - St. Valentine is close

Valentine's Day is fast approaching!  Before you know it, it will be here.  Attempting to be ahead this year I thought a Valentine project would be a good idea right about now.

Started with a piece of Real Red measuring 8" x 9 1/4", scored at 4" to make a card measuring 4" x 9 1/4".  Adhered a layer of Designer Series Paper Everyday Enchantment that will be available beginning January 24 in the Sale-A-Bration campaign.  On Pear Pizzazz Cardstock letters from Lovely Letters were stamped in Real Red and punched out with a non SU heart stamp.  No attempt was made to get the letters perfect within the heart.  The hearts were then adhered with glue dots.  Pear Pizzazz was also used for the floral die cut.

On the inside I just simply layered a piece of Very Vanilla to make it more readable when writing a personalized note.  I just may sneak this into my husband's briefcase.

********REGINA'S MISSION********

Well, most creative one, your mission this week is to make a Valentine card with the same measurements as the one above.  Haven't see you use this size in a long long time so it should be a little challenging for you.

See Ya Next Week!

Lovely card, Julie!!! Don't you just LOVE that Everyday Enchantment paper collection??? So, you want to see me make a rectanglular card? Not square???? Really? Not square? That will be a challenge, for sure, and I look forward to it.

Julie this is just an absolutely beautiful card and I love the paper you have chosen. So now I am going to go down to the crop room and see if I can come up with something that is as creative.... Good work really inspiring and keep it up.
